Training Your Memory
The key to improving our memory is to train your memory. We train our memory by using Memory Systems.

Memory Systems
Memory systems are not new. Training our Memory goes back 3000 years to ancient Greek and Roman civilizations.

Loci Memory Technique
One of the first Memory systems was called Loci (low-ky) or some pronounced in Loci (low-sy), which means “places” in Greek. As Orators would associate a sequential point of their speech to places in their home.

Association, Visualization & Connections
One of the first keys to understanding our memory is that it’s easier to remember something that makes sense to you than something that doesn’t.

Associate or link something you are wanting to remember with something you already know.

Using the Association or Link methods allows us to remember things in a vivid way that makes sense to us, therefore making it easier for us to remember.

Pegs
Pegs or Peg Words are used to help us associate something new with something we already know.
